SNACK PROGRAM
For the past 6 years, we have been fortunate to receive a grant from the Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba for a daily morning snack program at WWS. Our students are provided with a variety of nutritious snacks such as fruits, vegetables, milk, cereal or crackers and cheese.
SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER
Our divisional social worker visits our school on Tuesdays of each week. He is available to families for assistance through a family referral. Families are invited to contact the school Principal for assistance with the referral process.
SPEECH/LANGUAGE, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY & PHYSIOTHERAPY
Our Learning Support Teacher (LST) Madame Savoie will assist families with referrals for services provided by our divisional speech language, OT and PT clinicians.
LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER (LST)
Our LST Madame Savoie will assist families with services required by our divisional clinicians including psychology, speech/language and hearing, social work, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Our clinicians are located in Daerwood School in Selkirk but visit our school as needed to provide support to our students and families.
